A long overdue sojourn to this undescribable isle of magic and the home of a dear family of friends, who have braved Island Fever and set up an organic fruit farm on a couple of acres! Rosa Silver and Hugh Russell, two stellar shining artists from New York City and their two brilliant young 'uns, Zane and Lexie hosted yours truly for Eight Days of Recreating my Mind According to Paradise...Rosa and I began by a cleansing ritual, hiking underground to a Wet Cave and swimming under narrow darkened ledges to experiences "The Blue Room" in solitary expanses. The hole is the view back up to the sky!! Besides the requisite dolphins, sea turtles, fish whilst snorkelling, wild roosters and chickens island-wide, frigate birds, monk seals and other fauna, I was blessed by repeated sightings of a giant owl, said to be rare and extremely fortunate luck!
